Final Reflection

22/11/11

Hello again I know I've been gone awhile but I've just been so busy with science, it's great. Today we made sherbet and hokey pokey. Also I have been to a P4C workshop and it isn't even lunch! After lunch I will go to a visual spatial workshop and thats my must dos and picks done!

In the past few weeks I have done a bullying workshop, made a lava lamp, been in a small explosion or two and had heaps of fun. Next week is the last last day of enrich for the year and for me. I really will miss this place.

Week 2

Week 2 has been just as busy as last week. I did 2 workshops, talent development, 1 pick and this blog post. I know it doesn't sound like much but believe me it was. For my workshops I did Habits of mind, it was fun actually! I also did friendships, where we did a role play and talked about what a good friend is. Also I did nets for maths exploration. Nets are drawings that make a shape when you cut them out and stick the sides together. And remember last term when I made a documentary for the MADE awards? Well were' finalists! Go us!!

Hi Maddie.

You had a great first day back at Enrich today. It was great to see you so involved in our science talent development session today. You were involved in our experiment using the light sensor, and you offered your opinion, with reasoning when we were completing our conclusion. It was great to hear your thoughts on how we could have conducted the experiment differently to give a more fair, or true test. Keep up the great work Maddie.

I'm Back

Today was my first day back at enrich and we hit the ground running. Already into talent development, I am in science we will be studying solids liquids and gases for five more days. Also there might be some small explosions FUN! I have also done cartoons and physics, in cartoons we experimented with different eyes, and in physics we looked at gravity and air resistance.

1. I enjoyed getting out of Enrich for our documentary making.

A wish

I wish we had planned our documentary in more detail so that we could have finished earlier, and edited it more.

Hi.So far today I have called CUE T.V and organised a tour round the building for all of us. To learn about presenting and filming also we will get to see what else goes into making the news.

Also we chose some students to work with for our documentary. I am with India and Brittany. We are doing our documentary on how we as southlander's have an effect on the environment. We are going to interveiw many people and of course have fun. We are going to try and get rubbish bins on the beach with a petition. As well as that I did around the world with henry tuatara and interactions. I got the whole afternoon to finish things off.
